FALL COLOR TRIP – Update
Hello all.
We scoped out the route yesterday. It seems the colors are going to be very nice for our trip. The route has several vistas that overlook the river. We will be stopping to enjoy the spectacular views. Bring your cameras and binoculars as there are a lot of birds and animals to see.
Also we will be stopping for a 10-100 break ( bathroom ) at the Kwik Trip in LaCrescent.
As usual our group will have a Leader and Tail Boss. No one will get left behind.
Please have a full tank of gas and be ready to leave Chrysler Winona at 10am on Saturday.
Make sure to bring your GMRS radio.

Fall Color trip
It’s time to once again do a fall color trip. Date is October 9th. We will be meeting Chrysler Winona with departure at 10 am.
Jeeps are encouraged to use their GMRS radio. That way you will keep in contact with the rest of the group. Nice to hear about facts along the way. If you are not sure what this is, please contact me.
Plans are to go to Lansing Iowa.
It is a very scenic drive along the Mississippi River.
We will be eating lunch in the park on top of the bluff that overlooks the river. You may wish to bring a sack lunch or pick up a carry out from any of the vendors in Lansing.
There is a terrific ice cream shop called THE SKINNEY DIP that we will be stopping at for desert. Yummmmmm
As always , this is a Family Event. Kids and pets are encouraged. You are responsible for them.
Please call Brad with any questions you may have. You can also find our post on Facebook and reply to that with any questions.

BUENA VISTA JEEP FALL COLOR TRIP
Anyone want to do a fall jeep trip to Buena Vista Colorado around the 24th 25th 26th weekend of September?
They have a Jeep and Bicycle festival that weekend. It’s called 14er Fest. Named after all of the 14, 000 ft peaks in the area.
Have done this before and is really fun.
Some people are Jeep trail riders and some are bicycle trail riders.
All meet back in town at night for great food, and live entertainment.
Trails around there are fun and that time of the year are bursting with color. Trails are rated 1 to 10. Most difficult being a 10. We don’t do over a class 5 trail.
Will probably stay a few days longer. You are free to come and go on your own.
Plan 16 hrs to get there and 16 to get back.
I prefer to do it in 1 longer day and 1 shorter day.
Let us know be emailing brad or commenting on the Facebook post.

1st Annual Snowdeo
Hello Fellow Jeepers. Are you getting tired of winter? Want to have some fun? We are doing our 1st ever SNOWDEO. What is that? Well, you bring your Jeep out to a snowy trail and follow the Jeep in front of you and try to not get stuck.
We will be going on snow covered trails that you never thought you could do. You will be shown how to get unstuck and help someone else if it happens to them. There will be plenty of people to help and encourage you. Kids and pets welcome.
This is as always a family outing.
Prerequisites are:
Full tank of gas, something for a noon meal, snacks and beverage. In addition you must have tow hooks on the front, and tow hooks or a 2 in receiver hitch on the rear.
Warm clothing, gloves and boots.
A shovel , and tow strap if you have one.
Good time to put together a winter survival kit for your vehicle if you haven’t already.
We will be leaving the Chrysler Winona north lot on Saturday Feb 13th at 10am. Masks and social distancing will be mandatory.
Hope to see you there.

Spring Ride! April Fun Ride April 6th at 10 am
Spring is here and the JEEP’s are getting ready for action. Join us for a back road tour with lots of scenery. The plan is to leave Chrysler Winona at 10 am on Saturday, April 6th. We will be taking the scenic route and not be getting off road due to muddy conditions. As always our group adheres to the Tread Lightly program of staying on the trail and not tearing up the landscape. For the off road crew there will be an event coming up in the future. Please RSVP me as I would like to let the restaurant know about how many people to expect. It will be nice to see all of our friends. Been a long winter. Brad
